Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic infectious disease caused by dengue virus with clinical manifestations of fever, muscle aches and joint pain accompanied by leukopenia, rash. Hypovolaemia is a decrease in intravascular, interstitial, and intracellular fluids. This study aims to obtain a description of the implementation of nursing care on clients who have hypovolemia with dengue hemorrhagic fever. The method used is qualitative research descriptive approach case study with intervention. Participants in this case study included clients, families and nurses. Assessment results show the main complaints of the client is 3-5 days of fever, mucosa lips appear dry, skin turgor is not elastic, pale skin, sunken eyes. Based on these data enforced hypovolemia nursing diagnoses associated with increased permeability of capillary walls. Planning involves the determination of priority nursing problems that is hypovolemia because based on hierarchy theory of human need according to maslow fluid in the body in priority because physiological requirement, the expected goal is balanced balance of fluids, and the desired result criteria is reached that is moist lips mucosa, elastic skin turgor, limp. Interventions performed to balance the fluid that is, measure the intake and output, collaboration intravenous fluids, encourage the client to drink 1,500-2.000ml / hari. After the intervention in accordance with the implementation of nursing clients say it is not weak again and was able to spend drink 1.500ml / day. The results of the evaluation data obtained on the hypovolemia diagnosis relate to the increased permeability of the capillary wall, in the first the client has been resolved proved by the liquid balance O and the second client has not been resolved evidenced by the liquid -45 balance. The fluid in the body of the client is very important, so the importance of providing nursing care to clients who have hypovolemia with dengue hemorrhagic fever.
