Description of Potential Hazard and Work Accidents and Analysis of Risk Assessment in Steel Fabrication Plant PT Wika Industrial and Construction

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the potential hazards and accidents as well as risk assessment analysis in steel fabrication factory PT Wika Industry and Construction. This research uses descriptive research and design. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Overview of the potential hazards in the factory PT Wika steel fabrication and construction industry based on the identification of potential hazards that have been conducted by researchers there are 12 potential danger,that there are 5 potential hazards of mechanical, Electrical Hazard 3, 2 and 2 chemical hazards Physical hazards. Overview of the potential workrelated accidents and Unsafe condition Unsafe action conducted by researchers there are two potential accidents, namely 1 contained in potential workrelated accidents Unsafe action and one potential workrelated accidents Unsafe condition. Which of all Potential hazards risk assessment analysis. Suggestions for steel fabrication plant and construction of industrial PT Wika periodically in order to supervise the work performed process operators and workers are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work.
